Roof Restoration?
Liquid Applied Membrane
How can a roof be Restored?
You may have thought that old roofs are torn off and dumped in the land fill. Well if you thought this you are not alone. This wasteful practice used to be the norm. Today we do things a bit differently, and it’s so much better. Better for your business, better for your wallet, and better for the environment. Cutting-edge Liquid-Applied Membranes have revolutionized old roofs nation wide.
No longer does an old roof need to be torn off, shutting down your business until complete. Structurally sound roofs that are leaking are prime candidates for our restoration system. A thorough inspection is the first step followed by any structural repairs that may be required.
The inspected and repaired roof surface is cleaned, and a special primer is applied. This primer is a bonding layer ensuring permanent adhesion to the roof surface. Synthetic fabric is embedded into the primer anywhere additional reinforcement is needed, such as over-roof metal seams. After it cures, the top and final coat is applied. This top coat is a brilliant reflective white color that continues to reflect solar energy throughout the warranty period as long as it is kept clean.
Liquid Applied Membrane Excells Where Other Systems Struggle.
New Roofs
While it is most commonly used for roof restoration, Liquid-Applied Membrane is a great option for complex roofs that are difficult to roof with more conventional systems like single plies and their many variations. The seamless nature of this system eliminates the main source of roof leaks, the dreaded improperly installed single-ply seam.
